Draught @ BrewDog Helsinki, Tarkkampujankatu 20, Helsinki, Finland 00150. [ As Maistila Portieeri ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet chocolate, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, dark malt. (Keg at William K Kurvi, 20161008) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had creaminess, burnt malts and liquorice. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, creaminess, ash, liquorice, dark chocolate, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, ashy and bitter. A good solid porter.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2016. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is coffee, toffee, some hoppy notes as well as mild ashes. Flavour is fruity, ashy, roasted and some mild floral and smoked wooden notes. Tasty.

Tap at SOPP 2016, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Nice roastiness but needs malts. Quite drinkable.

Draught @ SOPP 2016. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and hints of hops. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and hoppy with some grass, coffee, cocoa and chocolate. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and hoppy with some cocoa and coffee. Pretty tasty.
