6 oz. tap pour as part of a flight. Hazy maple syrup, ring of head. Aroma is sweet coffee/malts. Taste is sweet coffee (? Lactose?), sweet malts. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Would have like a bit of bitter balance.

Bottle from buddy of mine. Has a few years age on it probably not ideal conditions. Dark pour still large head. Nose is rootbeer and coffee. Tastes the same. Fizzy and watery. Bland overall.

Pours a rich dark brown from a bottle, thick head quickly dissipates. Cadbury chocolate aroma turns into Dunkin Donut coffee in the mouth. Very fizzy, like a soda. Some might like these qualities, but they mostly turn me off, especially DD coffee, blech.

650 ml bottle purchased at RedStone Liquors, Stoneham, MA. The appearance is a dark garnet color with thin lasting head until the final sip.The aroma shows chocolate upfront with a mild roasted coffee bean and a hint of ash.
The body and texture of the beer is good for the style. Creamy texture with a medium body. The flavor is just as the aroma, chocolate, light hints of char with the roasted coffee flavor in the finish. Standard coffee Porter but does have easy drinkability and is crafted well. A nice after dinner brew.
