On Draft at When Pigs Fly, Kittery, ME. Pouring lighting in this place but it is not pitch black, more dark brown with ruby edges. Aroma shows light smoke, charred malt, chocolate.

The body is on the fuller side of medium with a light lingering charred ash, mildly smoky. The good thing is that it still displays a good amount of chocolate and roasted malts with light dark fruit hints. The alcohol is real evident after the swallow and shows a mild burn on the way down. If this would be bottle it would be a good candidate to cellar for 6-8 mo this to tame the ABV. If it was not for harsh alcohol it would have gotten a 4.

Very smoky. Good dose of chocolate and coffee. Black pour with good head and lacing. Light bittersweet finish here. Creamy consistency. Tap at Churchkey.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Black with tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, light smoke, dark fruit, toasty wood, roast. Tastes of dark chocolate, light wood and smoke, dark fruit. Medium body with a dry finish.
