Draft at When Pigs Fly, Kittery. Slightly hazy amber / gold thin head. Aroma is yeast, banana and light traces of honey. Flavor is quite good, the Belgain yeast gives the banana clove hints through the center rounded out by the honey. Alcohol shows lightly in the finish but doesn’t hurt the drinkable nature. Spot on for the style and even with the warming alcohol still pretty easy to drink.

Growler from the source. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a small quickly fleeting white head. Aromas of honey and light sweet sugar with a fair bit of light fruit, a hefty does of vanilla and a touch of earth. The flavor is sweet with big fruity notes. Light earthy vanilla and just a hint of oxidation, although I won’t fault it for that because that was probably the growlers fault. Nice sweet sipper.
