Taster pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is dark, dark brown, light sparkle, beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate. Taste is bittersweet roasted malts, borderline ash, hint of chocolate. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation with bittersweet finish. Overall, a nice roasty porter.

Draft at the source. Dark brown color when held to the light that had no head when it arrived at my table. Aroma is light on roast, weak dark fruit and a faint amount of coffee grounds.
Flavor shows mild caramel candy, black coffee, light earthy malt and hints of raisin. The flavor is decent, the thing that makes it very mediocre for me is the thinner body. It’s less then a 6% Porter so... Keep that in mind if you make it to this pub.
