Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is medium brown--like an iced tea--with no sparkle, a thin ring of white head and nice lacing. Aroma is lightly floral, cracker. Taste is bread and little in the way of flavor from hops. Palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation, finish as taste with some bitterness from the hops. Overall, fair, but seems more like an APA than IPA.

Bottle thanks to Bob! Pours a near clear deep amber orange with an off white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has earthy and sweet citrus with a bit of tropical fruit and an earthy grain backbone. Flavor has lots of earthy tropical fruit and citrus with a light earthy grain backbone.

650 ml bottle purchased at Beveridge, Wolfeboro, NH. This brewer use to put a bottling date on the front of the label but for some reason now only a green sticker on the bottle of the bottle that tells the customer nothing about the freshness. I like bottle dates. Ok, anyhow, slightly hazy amber color with some head retention. Aroma is good amount of fruit, grapefruit and mango with a kiss of pine underneath some pale malt.
The body is a solid medium with normal amount of Co2. The flavor is malt heavy with dough and caramel and light notes of citrus fruits toward the back end. The bitterness does not long after the sip. The entire brew is put together rather well but I feel like it is missing something. It needs one element or ingredient to make it stand out and give it some pop.

Bottle from Bert’s First delivery from a newcomer to the NH beer scene. Pours a crystal clear deep golden/ amber color with a huge frothy and bubbly milky white head that persists forever leaving lots of sticky lace on the way down the glass. Aromas of bready and caramel maltiness with plenty of grapefruit, citrus, and pine to counter. Very light almost Belgian like yeasty phenols round out the aroma. The flavor is quite malty with some bready brown sugar and caramel malts offset with a firm earthy pine hop flavor. Light to moderate level of hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Nice brew, a bit rough around the edges but quaffable just the same. Could benefit from a bit less crystal maltiness and more late hopping.
