LSAT Freedom Trip #145. Keg at the brewpub. Hazy copper, large foamy tan head, decent retention. Aroma of toffee, rye and citrus. The taste is toffee, rye, pine, citrus, earth. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering bitterness.

4 oz. sample at the source. Dark red in color with soapy bubbly head. Fruit citrus and caramel malt on the nose, light undercurrent of rye. Flavor is lightly earthy rye, some citrus and a good dose of caramel malt flavor. All elements are balance pretty well. Medium in body with a semi -dry texture. Very simple and easy to drink.
