On tap at the source. Somewhat darker than golden, more of an amber or copper without any head buy the time it got to the table. Lemony tart nose and flavor with bits of earth and a hint of prune. Tart and tasty.

Pours deep gold into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Yeast and mild funk aromas. Dry and tart with marshmallow and summer fruit front to back. Lasting sour grape and funk finish. Interesting balance of farmhouse and sour.

Draft @ the brew pub. Snifter shows a lightly hazy gold without any head at all. The nose is light Belgian yeast and not much else. Wouldn’t know from the aroma you are about to drink a sour. The flavor is medium sweet and mildly sour with Belgian yeast and white raisins. Hints of tropical fruits. The sweetness of the raisins balances the sourness quite well. The finish is surprisingly dry in texture with sour funk and light tartness. Really tasty and this really has some originality with the ingredients. Nicely done yet again.
