Sample at the Source. Medium brown color with a thin tan head. Some brown sugary maltiness with a sharp cider bite. Faint apple light astringency. This didn't work for me.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a light hazy orange to brown color with a slight carbonation seen rising to fill a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. Soft sliding lace.
The aroma blended some caramel malts to some apple crisp sweetness. Touch of nuts at the end.
The flavor leaned to the sweet side with the apples melding into the caramel malts. Aftertaste was all about the apples and caramel. Finish was quick and malty.
The feel was about medium bodied, maybe a tad under. Sessionability was there and the ABV felt good despite almost being in the \"imperial\" range. I can agree with what the brewer projected.
Overall, it was a little bit like drinking a caramel covered apple. I think that’s what the brewer wanted, maybe. But I didn’t ask that day. Next time, I will.

Keg pour at NH Brewfest. (I believe it’s renamed "Apple Brown Betty" but have to believe it’s the same beer.) Appearance is hazy light orangey-brown color--like apple cider, with decent little off-white head with fair lacing. Aroma is some caramel, malt. Taste is rich roasted/toasted bread without too much else but tasty. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with lively carbonation, finish is abrupt. Overall, this is OK but nothing spectacular.

Draft at the brewpub. Brown ruby color with lasting white head. Aroma of tart apple, brown sugar and molasses. Flavor is a extension of the nose. Body is thin with a sugary aftertaste. Pretty good and easy drinking for for sure. Rather tasty.
