32 oz. growler from the Brewery. Shared with friends at Adam Jackson’s Beer BBQ on 2/27/2013. Dark brown color with blackness in the center. Thin short lived head. Average aroma of chocolate, roast and hints of coffee in the nose. Much better roasted malt then the nose would lead you to believe. Coffee and light traces of chocolate. Mildly sweet finish. The one negative is the body is thin and really needs more depth. Other than that it is decent.
