Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of youghurt, oranges, wheat, and lemons. The flavor is sour with notes of oranges, lemons, lactose, wheat, and yoghurt, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle from the brewery. Big ginger nose, with lemon. Very tart and lemony, with much less ginger in the flavor and very little sweetness. Great tartness, grapefruit and lemon, very crisp. Slightly weird lemondrop candy in the after taste. Another good one.

Draught @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a very small white head. Aorma of wheat, light sweet, light sourness, spice, ginger, sweet citrus. Flavor is quite sour, wheat, sour citrus, lemon juice, light spice, light ginger. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, dry light spicy and acidic finish. 021019

Cloudy straw, soapy, fast disappearing white head. Smells like a pretty good Berliner - bright lacto, some white loaf crust, doughy. And then theres some fruit - the ginger is subtle and appropriate, white the citrus moves it a bit too much towards a soda. Tastes really sour, pretty clean tooth creaking lacto, and here's where the citrus helps, mellowing the acidity a bit. Some grapefruit soda bittermess in the aftertaste. Not bad, o overall - a bit too acid, a bit too fruity.

5 July 2019. At Dok Brewing Festival. Cheers to Anke & Ghent beer crew! Hazy yellow, no head. Aroma of ginger, starfruit, wheat, sourdough, young apricot & mandarin, lemon zest. Taste is medium fruity sour, very wheaty & lemony, hint of lime, yeasty-bready accent on sour-sweetish carambola & gooseberry, mixed with bitter ginger & grass. Dryish, tart, bit 'floral' finish but of course, not hoppy, with lingering ginger & starfruit. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Berliner Weisse with a spicy twist, likeable!

ABV: 3.5%. Hazy medium yellow orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, soapy, lemon, ginger, soap, lemony. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, tart, dry - chicken butt, sour, ginger, lemony, wheat - yeast. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20190708]

Little cloudy yellow to light beige beer, practically no head, just some big bubbles. Aroma: that's ginger all right, spicy, little funky, refreshing smell. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of ginger, little bitter, soapy touch, bit of citrus, sparkling. Aftertaste: bitter touch, refreshing, ginger, spicy finish.

Buddel (as Inge):Milky, looks like freshly prepared lemon-juice, no head to speak of, lemon peel and traces of ginger in the sour wheaty-cellary nose; solid sour flavour, light bodied, fizzy; lingering to throat-scratching sour w heaty finish with a lemon and ginger-caused freshness. Well made, but it etched my glass...;-)

Bottle at home. Thanks to SinH4 for the bottle from the local swap! Bit hazy pale yellow golden with fizzy white head that doesn’t last long. Ginger, lemon, lactose ic sourness, wheat, light malts. It’s pretty sour, in a lemon juice way. Light sweet and bitter. Almost medium bodied. It’s nice and fruity, and the ginger works well with the lemon. Slightly too sour maybe.
