0.33 l bottle from Ambrosetti, Berlin. Shared with Marko and Anna God. Murky light yellow, minimal head. Strong ginger aroma, citrus candy, multivitamin citrus blistering pill. Very sour, puckering. Ginger lemon sour candy. Very dry finish, will be to sour for some.

Bottle from Bierbaboon. Cloudy yellow with a thin head. Aroma of sharp lemons. Flavour is tart wheat, lemon on a grain finish.

Cloudy blond appearance with no head. Aroma is sharp and a little funky. Flavour is very tart with obvious ginger beer qualities. Very dry and refreshing.

8 3 7 3 15Draft at Festivale der Bierkulturen, Cologne.Hazy golden with no head. Aroma of herbs, almost meaty, lemon. Flavour is moderate sour. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from SinH4, many thanks Stefan! Hazy, light yellow with massive head that disappears quickly. Loads of ginger in aroma with some bright citrus. Almost detergent like aroma but the ginger keeps it fresh. Ginger and lemon taste with some wheat and yoghurt. Highly refreshing.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, yellow colour with a big but not very persistent frothy white head. Slightly sour-fruity citric aroma with a little funky touch and present notes of juniper spice. Sour-fruity and tart flavour, light bodied with a modest carbonation. Dry and wheaty, modferately citric taste with well-rounded juniper spice; dry and lasting sour-fruity and tart finish with the right amount of juniper. Very good. 08.II.18

Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, fruit salt, ginger, unripe berries, sorrel, mild vinegar. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 12-12-2018 / 3,0%) im 2018-04 im LagerLager Berlin getrunken. Diese Berliner Weiße mit Ingwer kommt ganz trüb und hellgelb daher. Das Sensationelle bei dieser Weiße ist die vollen Citrusnoten, die den Ingwer sehr gut überdeckt, aber in Kombination ein sehr vollen Körper bildet. Dazu kommt das der Ingwer keine Schärfe ins Bier bringt - vielleicht nur eine Art sehr passende Würze. Die Säure bei dieser Schneeeule ist schon sehr dominant und sicher nicht jedermans Sache, doch ich mag das. Ein wunderbares Bier für den Sommer.
