Odd appearance for a Kölsch: murky orange with white and thick head. Slightly sour aroma with soapy citrus, orange and hints of biscuits. Favour is tart with citrus, earthy notes, some lactic and hints of gastric acid. Finishes with some sour apples.Palate is a bit watery. Nothing to do with kölsch, like a (contaminated) witbier. Not a complete disaster though; the tartness is kind of refreshing and pairs well with a hot summer day. At the end of the glass it starts to disturb though.

Tap at Uusi Apteekki, Turku. Colour is hazy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, grain, yeast and something horrible. Total mess.
