Good as a coffee beer, not as strong as an IPA. Big java nose leads to a strong coffee front, full of warm juicy Mayfly loveliness. Toasty malt notes form a nice backdrop for all this java, and the bitter fade never grows acidic or overly assertive. Still, the IPA side seems overshadowed by the coffee, and the beer itself feels one-note. Still pretty good, though.
