Huge hits of pineapple and grapefruit, almost like a lo-cal breakfast plate, with a moderate malt background offering some deep honey sweetness to back up the fruit/floral hoppiness. Whopping IBU count doesn’t hurt much; the long bitter fade drips with resinous pine, yet it’s not a palate-killer. Could use a little more complexity, but a drinkable DIPA as-is.
