Heavy citrus all the way through, almost acidic enough to mimic a mild sour. Nice piney bitterness tightens up the finish, but the heavy grapefruit middle obliterates any subtleties. Mild caramel malt sweetness adds orange to the mix, but things get cloy as the brew warms. With all the delicious citrus hops (usually) available, this style of fruit IPA seems kinda pointless. Pretty, though.
