Belgian-style porter with prickly carbonation and an unexpectedly modest head. Fairly mild in all respects, with a modest sweet chocolate malt undercurrent laced with hints of roastiness. The spices are used sparingly--mostly get a hit of nutmeg on the finish--keeping the beer rather light for its pumpkin pie aspirations.
