Tap. Dark amber in color. Aroma was roasted cereal. Taste was a tad more hops then one would expect, toast and grains almost like a dark Mai Bock.

On tap at Chattanooga, pours a hazy copper / bronze with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel, bready malt, and toasted nuts. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted caramel, bready malt and a toasted nuttiness. Nicely structured, with a toasted malty finish. Solid.

Good cause, mediocre beer. Sweet, with a bread-n-honey malt front, with a modestly hopped finish that leans towards bananas-n-butter. Tastes like a better Yuengling, which may or may not be a compliment.

Growler from Ale Yeah! Pours clear caramel with a medium, tan head. The aroma is caramel, dark bread, grain, hay, and molasses. The flavor is very sweet and malty, with a lot of bready yeast. The palate is light to medium, grainy, and a little astringent. Overall, this is a malty, delicious beer.

2011 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Light brown in color with an off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Strange sweetness in the flavor that I can’t place. Re-rate: Growler. Deep copper with a tall, long lasting, sticky, off-white head. Good clean malt aroma, no hops. The flavor is sweet and malty, a little nutty in the finish. Better than I remembered.
