An explosion of hops and tropical flavours, this double IPA is deftly balanced with a golden malt body and elegant dry finish.
Double dry hopped for a powerful hop punch, any double IPA fan will love the grapefruit and citrus flavours from this beast of a beer.

Bottle at the Grapes, Falmouth, 25/04/16. Golden orange with a decent off White head. Nose is orange pith, light spice, bitter tropicana, earthy hop. Taste comprises singed grapefruit, big mineral undercurrent, dusty hops, lemon rind, orange peel, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with an earthy hop dusting. Ok but lower end for the style, overly raw and minerally and lacking finesse.

Bottle consumed at Cropredy, Fairports Annual Reunion Festival 2015, Thurs 13th, Friday 14th and Sat 15th shared with Craig. Hazy yolky gold with a slim white head atop. Loz thinks the hoppiness is a little unusual, I agree but I like it, it’s fuzzy, furry and with lots of curly hops. Cornish beers are getting quite good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Hazy gold beer, tidy off white head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Sweet but dry pale malts. Hops are floral with a light perfumey streak. Sweet esters - pear and a little bubblegum. Spice. Very mild citrus. Light semi dry finish. A little odd but fairly drinkable.

Normal.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out restrained piney and resinous hops, and some oranges and other citrus fruits perhaps. Flavour is along the same lines, but with the fruit further upfront, with sweet oranges and resinous hops. Not terribly complex and sweeter than I like, but still reasonable. Decent but unexciting double IPA.

330ml bottle from beer hive. Pours hazy pale gold, thin white head. Gentle to no carbonation. Aromas of lime cordial, and a whiff of something solvent-like. Taste has an unfortunate whack of cardboard up front, which gives way to mitre lime citrus bitterness and a nice chalky bite. Just about enjoyable, with a couple of flaws.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of lime, papaya, vine tomatoes and white grape. Flavour of cucumber, underripe kiwi fruit and orange peel. Medium body with a flat, oily texture. Very easy drinking for the ABV.
