Bomber from Bottle Barn. Aroma is sort of a dark honey. Or brown sugar combined with honey. Hazy amber gold color with a white head that didn’t stick. A bit thin in body, with somewhat fizzy carbonation. The basic flavor is wheat, I can taste suggestions of honey, but au fonde Brett seems to be present. I’m wondering whether the bottling process is picking up Brett. Seems the draft is sweet? If you put this up against some Russian River Brett ales, or some flemish sour ales, this would be a real competitor. Finishes quite dry, with medium sour. And honey still seems to be present. Was this a happy accident? Or is the sour intended?
