Sampler at the brew house. Great aroma of toffee and caramel malt. Pours a clear mohagony with an off-white head. Medium mouthfeel of chewy chocolate malt and full biscuit. Finishes nicely bitter.

A brown ale with a thin dark off white head. A nice nutty malt aroma with light British hops, nutella sweetness. In mouth, roasted nutty malts, bitter chocolate herbs, dry British hops, medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, 27 August 2009.

At NorCal Brewers Guild Festival at Raley Field. Aroma of nutty malt. Brown color; white head with a bit of lacing. Starts with medium+ mouthfeel, sweetish, slightly gritty dark malt. Not much hop, but maybe just enough. Very nice drink.
