Imperial Stout
Blacker than night, Ink stains the soul. An indelible chasm of roasted malt, plunging through note of coffee, dark fruit, and milk chocolate. Gaze long into the darkness and the darkness will gaze back into you.

Bottle split at RBWG β15 hotel lobby share on the final night, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Light black with a moderate off white covering. Nose is roast malt, chocolate biscuit, light spice, dark fruits. Taste comprises rich fruit, chocolate, ligt spice, earthy roast. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tickle of booze. Ok impy but doesnβt come out of 2nd gear.

Bottle shared late night in the hotel lobby during RBWG 2015. Thankfully still some left after Trvlr did a job on it! Pours black-brown with a foamy tan head. Lots of bready dark malts in the nose, mellow roast, cocoa. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Basic chocolate malt finish, mild alcohol warmth, some eathy hops, wood. Nice.

Sample at Daily Growler during the Cincinnati Beer Invasion on 01/23/014: Brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Roast malt, coffee and hops in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, malt and hops. The finish is roasty with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
