Bottle courtesy of Geraint (cheers Geraint!) consumed at home Sunday 13th August 2017 whilst making a Curry Guy base sauce and about to cook a Thai meal. Pours dark gold, excellent clarity,. The aroma is mostly coffee. In the mouth we have coffee, vanilla and a fruity bitter bite, soft and with a lasting tang. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Taste comprises cheesecake base, mellow coffee throb, biscuit crumbs, Caramac bar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent offering ... nice coffee profile.

Keg at Dogtap. It pours clear copper with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, toasted nut, cacao nibs, coffee, brown bread, vanilla and fruit cake. The taste is bitter, toasty, earthy roast, coffee, rather warming alcohol, wood, chewiness, pithy citrus, spice, white chocolate and tannin with drying finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Good depth of flavour. Perhaps a bit alcohol though. Pretty good fun.
