Bottle @ Don’s, Moate [280116]
Dark amber, clear
Aroma of caramel malts, herbal, aromatic, odd nose
Taste of caramel, herbal, coriander very noticeable, not much wheat or hops in this, odd flavour, all over the show - was an old bottle though
Palate - Soft carb, medium body. Finish as main flavour
Overall - The bottle was out of date. Was drinkable but not keen, gave it away to someone else in the pub who liked it

Cask at the Old Black Bulk, Preston. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light spice, light lemon. Taste is more of the same. Watery finish.

Cask @ Old Black Bull, Preston. Light and slightly thin tasting golden ale, there’s hardly any wheat ale character that it advertises itself to be. Crisp and very easy drinking though. Not much taste but has some fruit and hops in its nose.

Bottle. Redish brown with a thin head. Aroma is sweetish biscuit. Flavour is soapy, sweet ginger, dry hop, not much wheat or yeast. Alright but a bit strange.
