Cask at Earl of Chester, Crewe (not listed on RateBeer). Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with medium sized white head and good lacing. The aroma is a mix of traditional hops anf malts. In the mouth it starts off fairly sweet with some hoppiness, but then bitterness creepa in and eventually takes over. Flavour of gentle citrus plus hints of ginger and bread rolls. Finish is slightly bitter. It’s reasonable.

Cask @ Brewery Tap House, Chester [270115]
Golden, clear, thin white head
Aroma - Rust, soft minerals, fusty, bitter, not a good aroma
Taste - soft light caramel malts, some dry earthy hops, soft twiggy hops, average
Palate - Light body, soft sweet malts, fairly bitter earthy hops. Finish is a bit dry and bitter
Overall - Not my sort of beer
