Draught at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2025. Gluten Free. Black brown colour, biege foam head and aroma of malt, roasty, chocolate, coffee. Taste is sweet, malty, roasted, chocolate, with coffee and tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Cask at Old Bell, Derby. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small tan head and good lacing. Thereโs roasted malts and toffee in the aroma, plus some traces of milky coffee. In the mouth it is quite sweet, and somewhat thin with coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Hints of spice and dark fruits come through later, leading to a slightly fruity finish. This is quite decent.
