Bottle shared at the craft beer junction Bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A oily dark brown black coloured a halo of tan head. Aroma is salty, rocky road,, chocolate, marshmallow. Flavour is composed of Mars bar, chocolate, allow, berry woody, tangy Berry, hint of acidic edge. Bourbon barrel. Nice. .

19th June 2026Dealing With The Devil again tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. Almost opaque dark brown beer, a fairly thin palate, modest fine carbonation. Light and smooth dark malts, a fairly rich dark chocolate vibe and a decent amount of milk chocolate where the vanilla intersects. Slightly berry candy fruits on the finish. Rich if a tad sweet..

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of dark roast coffee, a touch of cinnamon, and plenty of bourbon barrels. Flavour is full of intense bourbon barrels, some spicy cinnamon, dry coffee, and a hint of nuts that seem to dry this out. Rich barrels, with just enough cinnamon. Not totally convinced of the cohesion here though, as the nuts seem to impart a touch of bitter astringency. Very good though overall.

22oz bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Tons of bourbon, toasty malts, cinnamon, and nuts on the nose. Flavour has a ton of bourbon barrels up front, good roast, and roasted coffee. The other adjuncts don't contribute much, muddling a bit. The bourbon is pretty aggressive, but I'm there for it.

Creamy off-white good mostly diminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.
