22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of dark roast coffee, a touch of cinnamon, and plenty of bourbon barrels. Flavour is full of intense bourbon barrels, some spicy cinnamon, dry coffee, and a hint of nuts that seem to dry this out. Rich barrels, with just enough cinnamon. Not totally convinced of the cohesion here though, as the nuts seem to impart a touch of bitter astringency. Very good though overall.

22oz bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Tons of bourbon, toasty malts, cinnamon, and nuts on the nose. Flavour has a ton of bourbon barrels up front, good roast, and roasted coffee. The other adjuncts don't contribute much, muddling a bit. The bourbon is pretty aggressive, but I'm there for it.

Creamy off-white good mostly diminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle @ Cafe Albert. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, spice, cinnamon. Flavor is sweet, roast malt, caramel, coffee, coffee, spice, cinnamon, liqurise, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet spiced finish with warming alcohol. 111123

Tap @ Cafe Albert.nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, little booze, hops, cinnamon and has a nice roasty finish.

Cinnamon, lots of raisin, some roast, and a little coffee. Diabetes bomb to be sure. A fair amount of barrel. Black oily pour with no head or lacing. Boozy sweet and tangy finish. Obviously not an imperial stout to go to if you're looking for balance and subtlety. Tap at Churchkey.
