Bottle from Cellar Door Wines, St Albans. Clear copper-amber with no head. Has a wine-like sourness and it's a heavy sourness. Spruce provides a slightly minty floralness in taste.

[ As Pope’s Yard Dragonship ].Clear light to medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, spruce, sour, sour spruce - resin - glue, wood, sour wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, spruce, sour spruce, wood, glue, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours still dark amber with no head. Aroma of sour berries, yeast, and spruce. Light sweetness, very heavy sour. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Salty finish.
