Bottle from Cellar Door Wines, St Albans. Clear copper-amber with no head. Has a wine-like sourness and it's a heavy sourness. Spruce provides a slightly minty floralness in taste.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Stat Improver Tasting ] - Saxo, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Pope’s Yard Dragonship ].Clear light to medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, spruce, sour, sour spruce - resin - glue, wood, sour wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, spruce, sour spruce, wood, glue, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours still dark amber with no head. Aroma of sour berries, yeast, and spruce. Light sweetness, very heavy sour. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Salty finish.

Bottle @ Johns. Pours slightly hazy golden, no head. Aroma of light sourness, wood, spruce, spice. Flavor is light sour, light sweet, malt, spruce, spice. Medium body, soft carbonation, light sour finish. 5-2-5-3-10. 170617

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Hazy golden without head. Aroma is sweet, malty, pine needles, wood and tart fruit. Flavor is medium sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. Strange beer. 170617
