A crisp Pale Ale infused with natural watermelon extract originally featuring a cat on the label. In 2024 after a long reign, we opened the contest up to dogs as well and now the can features one winner each. Meet this year’s Melon Heads Beatrice the Cat and Barney the Dog.

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich melon, fruits, hops, malt and has a sweet melon finish.

Sample, draught, at Garrison Ale House, savoured on August 16 2010; eye: amber, clear, no effervescence, tiny ring of head, light lacing; nose: water melon, fruity sugar, refreshing; mouth: water melon, fruity sugar, grain, light almond, finale in water melon with presence of grain, light body, good carbonation, mildly sweet, a bit thin, refreshing FRANÇAIS Échantillon, en fût, bue chez Garrison Ale House, savourée le 16 août 2010; œil : ambrée, claire, pas d’effervescence, petit anneau de mousse, légère dentelle; nez : melon d’eau, sucre fruité, rafraîchissant; bouche : melon d’eau, sucre fruité, grain, léger amande, finale en melon d’eau avec présence de grain, corps léger, bonne carbonatation, moyennement sucrée, un peu mince, rafraîchissant
