Bottle courtesy of Erzengel, thanks! Hazy to cloudy golden color, giant fluffy white head with good retention. Aroma is dank, sweaty citrus and flowers. Taste is lightly bitter, peppery, bready fruity straw. Very tasty.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, murky golden colour with a firm and mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Piney and fruity hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, citrus, pineapples, also slightly grassy notes. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Almost dry and slightly mineralic malty base with juicy hops and piney spice; bitter-sweet finish with fruity and slightly piney hops and notes of black tea. Decent. 21.X.16

330ml bottle. Murky, dark amber colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Ephemeral, piney and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple and passion fruit; only waxy and grassy notes remain after a while. Taste is dry hoppy, slightly fruity, grassy and minimally waxy, woody hints of pineapple, green apple parings. Not excessively inspiring.

0.33 l bottle from ’Hopfenrausch’, best before March 2017, thanks Mareike! Hazy, straw yellow with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. A bit sweetish, very fruity and a little grasy aroma of grapefruit, lemon, pomelo and pineapple. A bit sweetish, already slightly bitter, quite fruity and a bit grassy taste of pomelo, lemon juice, grapefruit and pineapple, followed by a rather long, quite bitter, very dry and a little alcoholic finish. Thin to medium body, moderately effervescent and slightly astringent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Strange stuff, doesn’t look very appealing, and it’s overall a really different IPA, it feels a bit like drinking lemonade and it’s bone-dry. Definitely nice, but not completely persuading.

Festival der Bierkulturen 2016, Köln. Great fresh. Nice intense floral hops, not too sweetish. Extremely great!
