24/4/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear bright golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, biscuit, hop, lavender, raisin, flowers, yeast and straw. Light sweetness, strange bitter bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Curious brew. Not keen.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Whitley Bay Slow Joe ].ABV: 3.9%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, cookie, sweet malt, biscuit malt, caramel, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, biscuit malt, cookie. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161015] 6-3-6-3-12
