0,33 boks fra Madla Handelslag, i solkroken etter. plenklipping: brunsvart med flott beige skumkrone som varer lenge. Mild aroma og god smak hvor balansen mellom mørke/lyse malter, furunål og søt citrus fungerer greit. Behagelig bitterhet i den halvtørre avslutningen.

Nice fizzy mediumlasting head, clear dark amber color. Aroma is slightly dry floral, pine needles, leafs, dusty hops, roasted grain, rubber, burnt toast, soil, hints of licorice. Taste is harsh floral, soil, harsh pine needles, leafs, bark, minerals, alcohol, burnt toast, rubber, dusty hops, cardboard, burnt licorice. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry floral mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

Can. An almost black one, topped by a dense, two-finger beige head. Nice curtains. Quite roasted aroma, piney and lightly grapefruity, some burnt hints and prune. Some orange zest. It's medium to full-bodied and smooth, semi-dry, with a decent bitterness. Dark chocolate, roasted malts, orange zest, pine cones and some grapefruit in the flavor. Medium length finish. A nice one indeed. A bit malty for a Black IPA, but that's the way most of them seems to be. 241226

200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Remaining fawn-coloured head over a near black body, upper part lacing on the glass. Moderate smell of bread-like malts, lightly roasted, added by a scent of herbal hops. Well balanced taste of mid-sweet malts, coffee, and dark fruits. Slightly roasted malt driven ending. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. (Tromsø, 31.10.2024).
