Notater fra Bergen Ølfestival, en alle tiders ettermiddag på Verftet i lag med Børge&Karen. Fra fat: brunsvart med kort skum. Kaffe, mørke bær, urter og karamellsjokolader. God munnfylde.

Draught, blacklog from Bryggerifestivalen. Shared with Bryne and yngwie. Filmy layer leaving scattered lacing on the glass, near-black body. Smoothly roasted malt-driven aromas with scent of chocolate. The taste profile follows suit with black chocolate, earth, and a note of liquorice. Long-lived finish with mid-dry chocolate malts, smoothly roasted, and with warmth from the alcohol. Fine depth. Nice sipper qualities to this one. (Trondheim, 01.08.2024).

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. An unclear dark brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is roasted and lightly burnt, with coffee and dark chocolate. Quite well hidden alcohol. It's full-bodied and warming, not too sweet, with a gentle bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of burnt malts in the flavor too, with a lasting finish. Quite nice this one. 240801
