Dahls Kjellerøl er øl som er tappet fra våre tanker direkte på tønne. Dette er slik Dahls Pils smaker før vi brygger den ned til 4,6 % og før vi filtrerer og pasteuriserer den. Ølstilen er kjellerøl, eller Kellerbier om du vil. Det er også nært det vi i Norge kaller en eksport.
Ølet er naturligvis uklart, det er fyldig og smaksrikt og her er fruktigheten fra Dahlsgjæra tydelig til stede.
Ølet er tilgjengelig kun av og til og det tilbys kun på noen få steder, - slik som noen av de stedene hvor vi gjør arrangement, her på E.C. Dahls Pub og Kjøkken og hos våre venner på Moskus. Og alltid her inne på bryggeriet.

Hazy yellow colour, small white steady head. Tropical fruity, grassy, papery aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus, malts, apricot in the flavour. EC Dahls house flavours. Vasa Sessions.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy brownish-golden colour, small white head. Distinct aroma of ripe bananas and lager yeast. Citric mouthfeel and flavour, with malts, bread, banana and yeast in the background, ending in a moderate bitterness. Unusual and interesting.

On tap, from 50 liter wooden keg, at Bryggerifestivalen. Might have been only 30 liter keg, not really sure. Anyway, it looked nice in the glass, with an unclear golden colored body under a dense, white head leaving lacing. The aroma has a delicious maltyness, like really fresh grains, with a nice fruityness to back it. Piney, peppery and lightly grassy hops. It's medium to full-bodied and dry, with a nice carbonation level. A bit low on bitterness I think, but at last there's some. Piney and grassy hops up front in the flavor, with the same delicious malts found in the aroma as a backdrop for the hops. Lasting finish. Now that's how a pilsner should be, even though this one's a bit on the strong side. No alcoholic notes though. Easy drinkable and tasteful. 240802

Draught, shared by friends at Bryggerifestivalen 2024. Bubbly surface over a misty golden body, lacing rings down the glass. Inviting aromas of noble hops and cereal malts. Malty flavoured, added by mid-dry noble hops. Cereal malts to the finish, distant notes of fruity hops. Clean on the swallow. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Trondheim, 02.08.2024).
