Perhaps the biggest, thickest, highest ABV beer we’ve ever made. This beer starts with a collaborative sticky sweet base stout, then gets hit with hand toasted pecans, Pralines, and multiple pounds of vanilla beans from Vanuatu, Comoros, and Papua New Guinea. The result is layers upon layers of sweet brown sugar pecans with an almost classic buttercream frosting character. 15% ABV. Contains lactose and nuts. 750mL bottle.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, Enid Street, 18/12/24. Black with a thin tan head that escapes to the edge. Nose is chocolate, booze, herb, dark malts, nutty, dried fruit tang. Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla essence, molasses, toffee, marshmallow, light spice. Full bodied, oily viscous feel, semi drying close with a decent boost offered. Solid sipper but lacks a little class and finesse to sit in the top drawer.

Keg at CBJ. Opaque black brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation - fine for this brew. Airy dark malts, good semi sweet dark chocolate and vanilla. Soft and pleasant nutty vibe. Juicy vaguely brandyish fruits on the back end. Nice. Decadent and layered.

Rated at The Side Project Cellar. Sweet and heavy with some nutty notes and syrup. A bit too sweet.

On tap at Angry Chair, pours jet black, tiny tan head. Aroma is very boozy, with lots of vanilla beans, harsh alcohol, pralines, and some dark sugars. Flavour is rather abrasive, with pralines, intense vanilla beans, lactose, and alcohol. Extremely rich, fairly sweet, but not that complex or elegant. Tasty for sure but a bit too sweet and lacking integration. For $10 / 5 oz, this is absurdly overpriced.
