Draft @ Ebeltoft Tap Takeover, Mikkeller Odense. Pours Hazy yellow with a White head. Slight citrus, Fresh grains, yeast and little Esters. Smooth and not overwhelmingly Sweet. Fresh malts!

On tap at Mikkeller Odense. Cloudy golden with a disappearing white head. Spicy phenolic aroma with a tiny touch of banana. Sweetish fresh fruity flavour with spices and bready malt.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, yellowish golden with a lacing, white head. Fruity, yeasty aroma with subtle banana accents. Medium body, heavy fruitiness, yeast again, clove and banana - all very classic for the style - I just want.....more of it all. This is a little downplayed on all perimeters to be up there with the best Germans. 100818

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Ebeltoft Weiss ].ABV: 5.0%. Unclear - hazy medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, light hoppy, herbs, moderate yeasty, coriander, clove, yeast, light banana. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, yeast, coriander, herbs, spicy, wheat, clove, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy orange, thick white head. Aroma has fruity yeast, banana and mild clove. Sweet flavour, yeasty in a typical hefe-way. Has a litte orange and lemon in the finish. Light and nicely balanced though not exactly mind blowing.
