Sampled from the tap at Churchkey. Pours near black with a thin bubbly brown head that starts at the edges and dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of bourbon with toffee, caramel and slightly dark sweet grains supporting. Flavor has bourbon and sweet dark grains with growing caramel and a touch of toffee underlying.

Pours very dark brown with almost no head. Aroma: almonds, vanilla, rich chocolate and plenty of bourbon barrels. Taste: syrup, bourbon and rich chocolate. Warming palate.
Next one, please!

Rated at Platinum Bierstube. Roasty, sweetish and heavy with loads of barrel notes, hints of chocolate sauce, prunes, figs, syrup, cocoa and hints of vinous notes. A bit heavy and complex
