Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. An opaque mahogany pour with a thin cream head; aroma of well roasted malts; rather thin in the mouth with a bitter taste of almost burned malts, with a light touch of vanilla that grows towards the finish, giving a definite reminder of custard.
