330ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers!]. Opaque, darkest brown colour with huge, frothy to macropore, osteoporosing, beige to tan head. Intense, roasty dark malty and fruity aroma, notes of plum and dark berries, hints of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, a touch of liquorice. Taste is roasty dark malty and slightly yeasty fruity, notes of chocolate and cocoa, hints of liquorice, plum, dark berries; slightly overcarbonated, therefore a tad thinned taste.

12/5/2018. Bottle at the Ipswich bottle share, from the Moogbrew tap. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, hop, chocolate, coffee, caramel, fruit and slight ash. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and a little watery texture, slightly above average. Sweet finish. Nice, though little too carbonated.
