Keg at Chesham MS brewery shop, Chesham, Bucks. A golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, mango, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, mango, tropical fruit. Lovely aroma on this SIPA but the taste didn’t quite match it. Decent.

Cask at the Berkhampstead brewery tap.. A milky golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is nice juicy mango, flaked wheat, apricot and orange. Flavour is composed of sweet raw wheat and oats, juicy mango, spicy citrus, apricot. Palate is semi sweet full malts, oats, moderate carbonation. Good.

Keg at RS HW, 28/03/17 followed by a growler at home 30/03/17. Light murky haze on a yellow orange pour with a solid off white cap that retains well. The nose on this beer is outstanding, dank sticky hop presence, pine resin, fleshy citricana, grapefruit peel, orange pith, straw, toasted brioche. Taste comprises melon, orange pith, light grapefruit, citric tinged straw, toasted bread, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close peppered with dank hop bitterness. This is a super solid session IPA with a big danko hop strike. If the badge had ’Verdant’ or ’Cloudwater’ on it I wouldn’t have thought otherwise. Best MS (RS) beer by a country mile ... could guzzle this for hours! Huge amount of flavour for the ABV.
