An Old Ale! 7.1% ABV, dark brown, satisfyingly malty, boozy but still quite the drinker. Brewed with old fashioned brewing "invert" sugars. Yes please!

Cans from Against The Grain. Black body with a tight beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of liquorice, chocolate and floral hops. Flavour of roasted malt, brown sugar, red grape and liquorice. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and delicious, if a bit thin.

Can picked up at the brewery. Deep chestnut brown. Decent off white foam stays the course. Nose has light chocolate light roast malt. Fairly vinous. Bit of a twang. Taste is semi sweet to start with a moderate dryness. Feels light bodied overall given the ABV. Dry fruity tangy vinous finish.
