Beneath its white, foaming head there are waves of lemon and cut grass aromas that just sing of summer. This is balanced by light cereal and biscuit notes and just a hint of pepper.

Cask at the Red Lion, Knowle, Solihull. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a somewhat light, malt, earthy, herbal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Kenilworth. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light herbal hops and straw. Taste adds some lemon and bread. Clean finish. OK.

Cask at The Trafalgar, Greenwich. Unusual to see a Kellerbier on cask so was willing to give it a go based on good reviews elsewhere. I didn't really see much unfiltered lager in this - tasted more like a standard pale ale. Apple / nail varnish aroma. Flat. Dried apple taste. Keller finish.
