Really interesting stuff. Dry and tangy. Ample dark roast, ashy bitterness, leathery berries, musty funk, old wood, tar, tobacco. Novel.

Bottle at Craig's. Pours black, nose is funky, vanilla, earthy, taste is funk, leather, savoury, woody.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - mat black and beige head. Nose - yeasty and earthy. Taste - wood, yeast and tangy blackberry. Palate - medium bodied, tangy sour finish. Overall - interesting.

Bottle at Craig's annual Christmas tasting. 07/07/2024. Pours dark with a thin beige head. Aromas of liquorice, yeast, treacle. Taste is more of the same. Earthy bitter finish.

Bottle from Lupe Pintos. Dark brown body with ruby highlights and a thin beige head. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of liquorice and wood. Flavour of soy sauce and rusty metal. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A tangy, unique stout.
