Can at home. It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a small frothy white head. The aroma is fresh bready and biscuity malt, leafy, tangy candied lemon, apple pie, pear crumble and dusting of white sugar. The taste is dryish upfront, although the main character is bitter - sweet, fairly hearty malt base, baked goods... doughy white bread, biscuit, touch grassy, leafy, herbal, apple crumble, twist of lemon and a touch of peppery spice with a drying, lip-smacking finish. Medium body and soft, massaging carbonation. Quite like what going on. A hearty breakfast lager.
