A deep amber coloured lager hopped with Hallertau Mittlefruh. The dark malts provide sweet caramel and subtle roast flavours with light bready notes and light spicy hop notes.

Can from LCB, consumed 5 months before BBE. Pours a chestnut brown/dark amber with beige head. Aroma of malts with brown sugar, bread, caramel, hint of nuttiness and spice. Taste has notes of caramel, caramelised sugar, brown bread, dried citrus peel, somewhat nutty. There is also a hint of spicy hop but could do with more of that. Good.

Can courtesy of dad, shared with Loz sat in dad and Pauline's garden, Rawson Green, Kilburn, Derbyshire Tuesday 2nd April 2024. Pours conker colour, not quite clear, off white head. Maltiness provides a medium sweetness, but also there is a nice caramel and dark fruit streakiness, possibly would have benefited from being a little bit colder but enjoying this.
