Keg at the Bellfield Taproom. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of chocolate and coffee. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish.

Blind tasting at the Bow Bar as part of their Dark Beer Challenge. Appearance - black and opaque. Nose - chewy toffee, burnt toffee and roasty malt. Taste - chewy toffee, burnt brown bread. Palate - medium bodied, chewy and roasty finish. Overall - a bit gnarly but nice beer.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Nera, abbastanza densa, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di caffè, cioccolato, leggero metallico che svanisce immediatamente. In bocca è morbida, dolce all'attacco con chiusura amara, bilanciata. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Buona.
