Keg at the Bellfield Taproom. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of chocolate and coffee. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish.

Blind tasting at the Bow Bar as part of their Dark Beer Challenge. Appearance - black and opaque. Nose - chewy toffee, burnt toffee and roasty malt. Taste - chewy toffee, burnt brown bread. Palate - medium bodied, chewy and roasty finish. Overall - a bit gnarly but nice beer.
