On keg at Fierce, Edinburgh.
Appearance - mat black and beige head.
Nose - coffee bean and chocolate.
Taste - coffee, chocolate and caramel.
Palate - sweet with a decent length.
Overall - good.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours black with a thick, but dissipating brown head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, heady notes of coffee, nutty, chocolate cake, praline, malt loaf, touch of vanilla, cake frosting, mars bar and toffee crisp. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, earthy, slick, plenty of coffee, espresso, coffee cake, toasted nut, praline, umami character, liquorice, toasty spice, dull vanilla in the backdrop and a tickle of booze with a roasty coffee finale. Medium body and light carbonation. Flavourful, but perhaps lacking in a touch of condition. Moreish anyhow.
