Take a slightly salty, slightly sour pale style beer – make it black, double the ABV, add fruit, add liqueur. Think sour cherries dipped in salted chocolate and you’re halfway there. Jet black. Chocolate cake and ripe berry on the nose. Smooth body with a tart mulberry, salted chocolate and warming roasty finish.

A dark brown gose with a thin brown head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with loads ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a tart mix of salty gose, light chocolate, interesting but bizarre. 8-3_6-3 -12
