This is round two of our Life in Technicolor series, where we explore the relationship between hop-forward beers and various citrus fruit. This beer was designed to carry the hops and citrus with strong base of barley and oats as well as a large addition of lactose or milk sugar which provides and round, full and smooth mouthfeel. We brewed this beer with a ridiculous amount of Key Lime zest and juice and an array of citrus forward hops. It's light and tropical and a welcome reprieve from this winter that doesn't seem to want to end. It's almost Spring right?

Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Good Measure.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow almost orange color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: all about the Key lime in this one - sweet to bittersweet and a touch of tart; soft clean malty underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet to slightly sweet quality - super subtle tart but that seems barely there; finishes mostly bittersweet with a touch of Key lime in there
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness with nothing bothersome anywhere; good carb level
Overall: nice enough to come back to but probably not the best one of the series

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with citrusy floral hops, light lemony notes, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light citrus pulp, resinous and piney hops, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.
