Keg at RS HW, 04/03/17. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is light roast, chocolate, toffee, toasted brown sugar, light spice trail. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, fruit rinds, black pepper, toffee, roast malts, faint coffee sprinkle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent porter but struggling to identify the orange.

Cask @ BeerHeadZ, Grantham. Thick black with a good off white head. Aroma is smoky, roasted malt and a little citrus. Flavour is bitter: smoke, coffee, chocolate with orange coming through in the finish. Decent

Black beer, beige head. Light malty orange aroma. Taste is chocolate, orange, some earthy malt. A bit of bitterness but it’s not the tastiest beer of this type. Mellow, tasty, near-sessionable porter.

Cask at the Bow bar, winter beer festival 2016. Pours opaque dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of dark chocolate, faint orange. Taste fairly nails the Terry’s vibe though. All dark chocolate and orange oil. Light roasted bitter finish cleans things up a charm. Lovely.

On tap at The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Black beer lasting tan head. Charcoal roasted chocolate aroma. Some roasted malts. A little burnt. Vague orange flavour. Mostly it’s like liquid dark chocolate in the mouth but it’s got that burnt roast malt flavour I am not keen on. Good but could be better. Not much hop ok condition.
